How is Mr. Freeze able to have two trains?

How is Mr. Freeze able to have two trains, wouldn't they hit each other?

They have a dual loading station that can slide the loaded train into position allowing the second train to be loaded while the first train in running and vice versa.

Yes, and that speeds up the loading process much faster, especially becuase Mr. Freeze The Ride is a shuttle.

Yeah....but when (as in sfstl's case) the park doesnt have enough staff on hand to run the 2nd side....a seemingly short line can be over 30min long....

This was the case for mr freeze @ sfstl for 2001.....

Think of the station having two tracks and one launching platform.  Each train sits on its own independent table.  When one train returns from the circuit, its original table is waiting for the train.  Once in position, the track slides over to the left or right to where guests can enter and leave the train.  The train on the other side can at any time slide into position for launching.  Each table is independent of each other so they can launch when ready.  If one side is ready before the other then it can launch while the other prepares.

I hope some of that actually makes sense.  If it didn't the first time, try reading it again.

Actually, the main table is one huge thing.  That's at SFOT, at least.  My uncle went down there and he told me that they had the operation down to a science...each train would be ready to go as soon as the other came back.  See, down in Texas, people take their earrings off when they are told, and they don't put up a fuss like here in NJ, lol.

I've seen the table move over on some show, and it happens real fast. I'll let you know how it is after my trip to SFOT in May.

If you have to figure out how to ride a coaster to be comfortable, then that's not a coaster worth riding.

They should make all shuttle coasters like this. Especially when they are sticking low capacity coasters into mega-parks like SFGAm, CP, and SFMM.

It would definitely help capacity.  That would be interesting to see coasters like SUE and Boomerangs to have dual loading stations.

While an interesting idea, I think it is only possible when the station at one end of the track (like Mr. Freeze or Chiller) and not in the middle (like S;UE, WT & V2.  Think about it. Do you want to go 70 miles/hour over a track that moves.  No matter how precise the splice is, there would probably be too much of a gap to make the trip 1,000's of times a year safely.
