Last year Great Adventures opened on Arpil 7 I think. This year it's opening March 30th. Are other parks doing the same? Why?

Actually, SFoT is opening later this year than they did last year by a week, I assume this is partially because they stayed open an extra week in January, and Spring Breaks are falling later this year.
From their web sites, I believe Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Paramount's Kings Dominion are both open the week after Easter, and then only weekends until sometime in May.
Hersheypark's regular opening will be in early may, but it will be open for two days in mid April for "Springtime In Hershey" (according to ads, only 4 coasters will be running)
Actually Great Adventure opens March 29th this year, a Friday.
