Mike, Vertigo is a ride in Challenge Park with has two towers. A car is suspended with 2 bungee cables from the top (like a sky coaster) and a triangular shaped car that holds 9 is at the bottom. The car is then shot up by compressed air and bounces before being lowered. At least it's something like that.

It's 3 towers, but you've got the rest down. Someone mentioned 65 feet. Vertigo has three 265-ft. towers. I would estimate that the WT progress hasn't hit 60 feet yet. I'm going to see what is on GTTP.

I have an easy explanation for the webcam evidence that will make it worthless. CP just has to basically push a button and if they want, they can loop an old picture from the webcam for as long as they want (ok, maybe not just a button, but if they type in a few lines of code, they can make it do that.)

Vertigo Falls
A portion of one of edar Point's newest rides, fell to the ground Monday afternoon.
Park officials say one of the Vertigo's 265 foot support towers broke about 65 feet above the ground.
Cedar Point says the ride launches people almost 300 feet into the air at speeds of nearly 50 miles an hour. The park says no one was hurt and there was minimal damage to the area surrounding the ride.
Officials say they're still not sure what caused that portion of the ride to fall
