Opening of X

Was anybody at Magic Mountain today, Saturday, for the opening of X to the GP?  How did everything run?  How were the line?

~Nick

I did not go, however, from what I heard, crowds were nothing like what was expected. Lines for X were less than 2 hours long!!! However, once people hear that X is open and the weather warms up, expect lines unlike any other coaster!!!!

Were lines expected to be over 2 hours?  Yeesh.
When I was there on Chirstmas Eve, it was.
You can't expect lines to be long, as it is the off-season.  Usually, rides are walk-ons at this time of year.

I'm just praying that it won't be too long on February 2nd.
Is the MLK holiday traditionally much more crowded than any other weekend during the off-season?  Also, if you purchase a 2002 season pass for SFMM, is it processed immediately so that I can enter the park.  Thanks in advance to any who reply...

Yes, if you purchase a season pass it is processed immediately and you will be able to use it to get into the park.

I'm gonna be going like in May or June and hopefully lines aren't that long, but if they weren't yesterday, then they probably will over the summer. :(

Actually, Feb. 2nd is a Saturday....my birthday!  And my gift to myself is a ride on X.
I might be going sometime in May. If It's long I'll hit the other rides.
