I'm wondering will rides or roller coaster operate in light snow at all?? Or do they close them down. I've never been to a park when it snowed, but this weekend in the burbs of chicago, there is a slight chance of flurries.

When it's cold enough to snow, the grease gets REALLY stiff. Stalled trains are a definite possibility,so don't count on them running if it gets that cold.

If you think about it who would want to ride a coaster in weather cold enough to produce snow. Brrr.

I am interested to know this as well. Does anyone know if the Whizzer was working this weekend at SFGAm. I will be flying in next weekend. This coaster is the main reason for my trip.

I know it was snowing or just cold and rainy in Cleveland this weekend and at SFO they would not let Batman go without a full train, every seat full. Other coasters had to have most of it full. Rollbacks are definately a scare in cold weather.

Whizzer was working in the cold, cold, cold. And it was fun... even with frostbite!
