PKI 2002 Schedule released, not accurate?

PKI released their 2002 calendar on their website.  I do not believe that the schedule is accurate because it lists the park as open on the two math and Science days.  Also, their are several other errors.  It appears, as well, that FearFest won`t return as the park will be open to the gp till 11:00 on Saturdays in October.  Anyone know anything about this schedule?  Also, what happened to all the company picnics in September when the park was closed to the gp?

Im not sure whats up,  Seems like a damn cool scheadule to me!

They are open every friday night in may from 6-12 and every weekend in september + Nov 2-3rd

Check that, I do believe on of the Firdays in May is a math and science day, when the park is supposed to be closed to the gp, and closes at 6 in the afternoon.  Also, if you read the column on the right its says the park will operate daily very day except June 2.  However, on the actual schedule, they have June second as open to the gp.  Nother interesting thing, is that over the weekend, the local Cincinnati paper said that the park opened on April 6, not on April 3rd.  Anyone know what what is the real schedule, or is this the real one?

The news paper is not always right, and it's only January, ALOT can still change with that schedule

I was wondering if anyone knows if they are going to be open on April 13th & 14th to the public because I will be going to Kings Island on my birthday weekend.

Yes they are, according to the schedule on their website at this link http://www.pki.com/visit_calendar.jsp , they are scheduled to be open that weekend.  Another tidbit, when I called pki`s information line, the recording said that the park will open on April 7th, 2002!?

Now this is really, really interesting since April 3rd is a Wednesday.  Makes sense since Easter in on March 31 this year.  If this is schedule is accurate, looks like I'll be missing my first PKI opening in 4 yrs.

As I had been predicting, the schedule that was originally posted on the PKI site was not accurate.  Today when I checked they had revised their schedule and opening day to the general public is Friday, April 5.  The park will be open from 10am to 8pm.  You can view their schedule at the above link.  I did notice that thei year in October the park will close at 7 on both Saturday`s (fearFest) and on Sundays (???)
