Beast Trainer Problem

I'm trying to modify the X in Coaster Grotto's SFMM recreation. I need to use the trainer to merge the tracks together. When I try go to execute build thru, it says I need to select Special Build Mode. I know I selected Special Build Mode because it says in my recent messages.

Basically the best explanation that can possibly be written is the one at the trainer's website. If you can't understand that, nothing will make you understand. i myself hate using the build through, so I don't.

I have already read the explanation on the site many times. It didn't help. I don't like the build through either but in this case, it's the only option

Well you have to Start Special Build Mode BEFORE you even start building any part of a track. For me, I select SBM before I even click on the ride menu. I still can't figure out how they got it to go down the vertical drop without crashing.
