Looking for enthusiasts in the southern Ohio area

During the past three years, I have been researching a park in New Boston, Ohio called Millbrook Park. I am looking for enthusiasts in the southern Ohio area(anywhere around the Portsmouth area) to share info with about Millbrook Park. I would like to see a historical society formed for this park. Millbrook opened around 1902 and  closed in the mid 1930's due to the expansion of the steel mill. Millbrook park was home to the Figure 8, which was the world's largest coaster at that time. It ran from 1902 until the flood of 1913 damaged it, which led to the destruction of the ride. The city of New Boston has expressed interest in bringing the park back in some form.  There was talk recently of buying a few rides and setting up a small park. Millbrook Park still exists today as a city park with picnic areas and a playground. There are still two old buildings from the park. The power station, an old brick building still stands and the trolley station is now a carry out. If anyone would like to know more about Millbrook, let me know.

That sounds great.  I don't know anything about it, but I would definitely go there a lot if it reopened.  I would like to hear more about it, too, if you're willing.
