Rides that have lost their theming

Name some  rides that have lost some or all their theming since openining 

ex: Disaster Transport- some themed rooms closed   satelite doesnt fire     satelite on movie screen gone     what else?

Magnun XL200- smoke  lights and eerie music missing from last tunnel

Hurler- Waynes World theming gone    

The Demon @ SFGAm use to have awesome theming.

Yeh, it used to have great theming, but its still a great ride. Although it has been cloned hundreds of times, I still like it. I think it still has some good theming to it.

About half of Runaway Mine Train's theming at Six Flags over Texas has been lost.  This was the first mine train, and they've done some work on it lately, but it's still not up to scratch.

I'm not sure if this is true but I think that before each train "took off" on Top Gun at PGA they would shoot mist to look like smoke. When the retracting floor goes down you can see little holes, I think that's what they're for.

Viper at SFGAdv.  Granted that the ride has been closed for over a year, but even in 2000 when it was opened, the landscape has grown in and the exit almost looks like Batman's exit should...like a vandelized city alley.

Well, I think Batman TR at SFGAm used to have smoke come out from the floor when the train was dispatched.  But not anymore.  Also, I think the police car was supposed to have spoke coming out of it.

Yeah, like CoasterAddict said about The Demon, except I'm talking about the one at PGA. This thing used to be sick! Red water that looked like blood  flowed down the monster cave's mouth as you entered the corkscrew, and the whole little pond was pretty much this "bloody" water. The tunnel after the second loop also had flashing kaleidoscope lights. The coolest thing of all was the Demon eyes in the cage right before you enter the queue. Periodically, the eyes would turn a very sinister red, and smoke would come out of the cage. Boy do I miss that.

PKI's Adventure Express used to have thrusting arrows, fog, etc.  The Beast used to have water and a fountain and water wheel under the queue.

To Anthony Clauser   My theory is that once the theming stops working the park doesnt put any money into fixing it

Im curious to hear about some of the texas parks  I've heard that jokers revenge at SFFT has been stripped.         what about roadrunner express at that park  and how about the mr freezes/chiller at other six flags parks and the batmen,inverted or otherwise    

The water was taken out of Daddy's line because the mosquitoes got unbearble in the summer nights.

If parks are going to theme something wouldn't it be economical to fx it if it breaks?  They may still have to pay insurance on it, so why not have it work?

This award Go's to Batman The Ride at SFGAdv.The theming on that ride use to have the best theming in the park,i remember when it first opened they would have the movie playing on the tv screens when you waited in line and sound effects going off along with fountains that where sparkeling clean and running water.Then you would go into the urban section right out of the park section of the line and there would be sound effects of gun shots and people arguing etc (made it feel like you where in the ghetto) then they had you go trou the water tunnel and wind would be blowing from the fans then the baman music would play as you got closer to the staion,you would get on have a great ride and get off happy.The last time i went in Oct of 2001 they had pop/r&b music playing and it blasting as you got closer to the staion so loud you couldent hear yourself think.They then had one sound effect on of water droping which was so loud it over casted the music and the speaker was vibrating.The nice fountain that once spouted water was covered in dirt and green mold along with shrubs.And most fo the queue was abaonded and full of weeds,the tv's no longer even have tv's in them and if they do there all dirty and play nuthing.Basicaly the whole ride is a mess and it is so sad to wacth,batman the rides lack of theming is what makes me not want to buy a 2002 season pass,becuase the same proplems accur with other rides and coaster at the park.

i havent seen disney parks with theming going down the tubes. but if you have seen it, please tell me

A lot of the rides mentioned aren't insanely great rides. On actual good rides no one pays attention to theming because they are enjoying the ride. On crap roller coasters you need theming to make it less crappy. And when crap roller coasters loose theming they become almost unbearably bad. But good major rides don't need theming because your busy screaming.

I didnt say disney let their theming  go down the tubes  I said they were the ones who seemed to care 

When I went to disneyland a few years ago the ONLY animatronic I saw not working right was a face on the wall in the lower coner of the Tiki Room   thats a credit to disney and their maintenance

Disaster Transport is still my choice for most lost theming   Anyone remember the room with the robot  flight controller.    How about the next room with the robot that looked like Binnoculars if you listened to the sound track you would here this robot fussing at the mechanical arms that are fixxing the transport car and it is also *****ing about the  flight controller  robot   Last time I was there  the only theming  was blacklighting
