Arrow Dynamics "Behind The Music"

I think it was the year for Arrow. The company has all the right elements of what makes a lengendary icon. It's sort of like a Pop Diva or a band comeback. The rise, The Fall, The Comeback. I've always been loyal to Arrow it gave me a secret charge when I found out that long time Arrow alie Sixs Flags Magic Mountain announced it would build Arrow's 4D (Ironically, next to Arrow's Viper). It was also made for great internet,to see the top secret pirate video of 4d leaked to the cyber community. We all watched twisted Rails daily to see the construction process of X. Would it work? Would it be rough? Would it spin too much? And on X mas Eve it opened to RAVE reveiws.
The climax, of the year is when Statoesphere Tower in Las Vegas announced Arrow's 700ft tall freefall. I was kind of hooked on the "Fish Hook" trials (kind of like O.J.).I must not forget the most waited for interveiw. Jeff speaking with Fred of Arrow.Jeff asked some of the best questions including the loaded question....What does Arrow do besides making rollercoasters. Bravo Jeff.
lastly,I held my breath when it seemed that Arrow might have went bankrupt. It was a sad.I appreciated the fact that Coaster Buzz didn't print a word until all facts came in.
Great year for a great company.
Can't get all that excitement from B&M or Intamin.
I like Arrow coasters, they are very exciting from beginning to end. Sure the track is a little rough as the  ride gets older, but anytime you send a car speeding across a surface at 40-70 mph.  It is going to start to wear out and get rough. I am glad to be a member of coasterbuzz, simply because they painted the picture of Arrow's bankrucpy in a true and clear light. Today's media is so  bias and so uncaring about the facts , that it is nice to know what really is going on. I can't wait till these 4-D coasters begin to spring up. I wanna ride.

Of course that's just my opinion I could be wrong~Dennis Miller
I love this forum title! Even better, I'm a drummer! :) So do ya think Mr. Toomer will agree to do an interview about creating coasters with his "music wire"? Sorry, I had to!

As stated many times from various individuals through the company, Arrow is far from dead. There are so many things they have introduced to the amusement world, and there are tons of ideas still in the works. They are not who they used to be, and I am sure all of you are thankful for that. What gets me is that I have only been on two things out of their latest creations, and that's Tenn. Tornado and a Mad Mouse. You can imagine my passion for experiencing X, an ArrowBATic, and that Virginia Reel (Who doesn't want to see a 100 year old ride resurface?).

I agree with Arrow Guy, but even if Arrow does go under, how many of you actually think that employees will just say goodbye to coaster designing? I'd bet that if Arrow does go out of buissiness (God forbid) that we'd see at least one new company come out of it.

Speaking of Behind the Music...

Everyone be sure to tune into Behind the Music on Janurary 21st to see one of best bands out there right now, Garbage! Look for the video for the new single, "Breaking Up the Girl" on that same day too. :)

I know Jeff likes Garbage. Parade's a great song, but Silence is Golden and Breaking Up the Girl are much better. ;)

Personally, I like "Drive You Home" and "Nobody Loves You". I like the darker stuff. :)

WOW! Someone else who likes Garbage! I like everything by Garbage, except Untouchable (I REALLY can't stand that song) and Cherry Lips (even though the video is REALLY cool).

Back to topic now, sorry about that. :)

P.S. Deadwood and Trip My Wire are the BEST Garbage songs, even though they're B-sides. :)

I'm more or a Nirvana fan myself :)

Garbage is hardly a girl band, even though the singer is. 75% dudes makes it a dude band with good taste in singers.

And Drive you Home makes you want to cuddle up with Shirley in a car on a rainy day, doesn't it? I hate her new haircut, but she just carries herself too damn well to not be sexy.

Crap, here I go getting off topic. Sorry.

Yep, been a fan since the beginning. I still listen to "G" is for Garbage. I fell for Shirley after songs like Supervixon, Stupid Girl and Fix me now!  That girl has A-T-T-I-T-U-D-E!  And of course, my favorite Garbage song of all time.....#1 Crush, from the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack!

Ok, back to the topic at hand.  ;)

What was the topic again?

Giddy-up

This is getting ridiculous, and not just cause I'm a classic rock guy! I suppose my fav. band could play "Still they ride" for this episode! Think of it, their album titles are perfect for coasters (that is, except for greatest hits!)....

I have named coasters after songs and album titles before for RCT, some are:
Battle for Los Angeles, dueling wood.
The End, Inverted shuttle
Fade to Black, Arrow Suspended
Wait, was this the topic? Oh, Arrow, nevermind then

I could see th MTV Diary for Arrow...

"December 24, 2001. We opened our first 4D coaster, X, to a preview audience of coaster enthusiasts... I feel like I've grown up so much now..."
