Man, I bought this video card from my computer store 4 weeks ago. The salesman said, "This is a very powerful video card. Folks, Don't buy anything from SiS, it is junk. I was getting one frame rate from this card, and believe me, I spent 2 days trying to find ways to make this work. Don't buy these cards. Just a freindly word of warning. By the time I took it back and the tech put it in the machine to make sure it was ok, it didn't even work..lol.

GeForce2 or better my man! :)  The 32 MB version will work fine and is cheap.  The 64 MB version - even better.  Don't waste time with anything else.

LOL...A kid in my class did a power point presentation all on the GeForce cards.(You kind of sounded like him) but they are the best out there...that I know of.

If money is no problem then Radeon 8500 is the best card out there. It's better than GeForce3 and it's even cheaper.

Forget the Radeon and ATI cards!! They are garbage!  a You can get a nice Gforce 2 MX 400 for 99$.

My recommendations:

Budget - GeForce2 Ti or GeForce MX400

Value - GeForce3 Ti200

Highest Performance - GeForce3 Ti500

The problem with the Radeon 8500 is poor drivers.  I would not recommend one over an Nvidia based card.

I've had nothing but good experiences with my Radeon. I snagged the All-In-Wonder looking for video capture over gaming. Still able to get 60 fps on average in No Limits with all options maxed and no tweaking.

Good enough for me! :)

Well , you lucky then. It's their drivers for the cards that stink.
