Long, gradual descents

The long, gradual descent is an element I love on coasters, but it's not used very often.

Obviously, the one that comes to mind is the hill before the Beast's final helix, but there are other good ones.  The hill into the first two loops on PKI's Vortex is great.  SFGAm's Whizzer has a first drop like this.

Anyone else think of a good one?  Let's hope you're all as bored as me.

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."

I must be pretty bored to mention the drops on boomerangs and invertigos. This would be on the outer edge of fitting into the category.
I think the American Eagle's descending left turn is about as gradual as you can get...gotta love it though!

Revolution at SFMM has one, as does the larger helix drop on Beast.  I would classify the first drop in the Mighty Canadian Minebuster as a gradual drop as well.

the second drop of one of le monster's tracks is a curving drop that kind of gradual. it gets faster and faster and is a little rough at the bottom. the other track is much steeper. i also am a big fan of the beast, especially that drop into the helix. one time i was there for an event for ACE where we had the entire park from 6pm until closing. the breaks on the second drop were not on at all, as you could see they were rusted. unfortunatly, the other breaks were on. a classic ride that has been in my top 10 for 10 years.

Desperado's second hill is like that. I heard that it is supposed to be the fastest part of the ride, but I don't really see how that could be true.

I absolutely love the Beast's gradual hill. Nothing comes near to the powerful finish that hill creates.

"X" marks the spot in 2001!

Drachen Fire has a gradual drop near the end.  It gives you the feeling of speed, until the ride starts shaking.
I love gradual drops also!  Don't get me wrong, steep drops are awesome also, but I do like coasters that have unique features as gradual drops, and straight track.

The Beast has one of the best gradual drops I have gone down (IMO). That long, stretched out, drop into the helix provides an excellent anticipation moment every time I ride it.

PKI's Ghoaster Coaster is one long gradual decent. It's a kiidie coaster, but has nothing but the curved drop. Then bam you hit that stupid brake before the last curve.

And The Pepsi max Big One over at Blackpool has the gradual descending hills.
