I just received a rehire package from sfgadv, and it has a listing of all the rides sections and what rides are in them, and the only changes are what rides are in what sections....Every single ride that was in the park in 2001 is listed except for El sombrero the mexican hat (Yes viper, parachutes,and space shuttle are still listed), and there is no new ride in any section. I'm guessing that they will attempt to open these rides such as viper and space shuttle, for the reason that they are in different ride sections this year. I mean, why rearrange ride sections and put a ride included that will never open or is "supposed" to be torn down? By the ordering of the ride sections it appears the centrifuge will definately be where the mexican hat was.
Actually, there is gonna be a new ride next year.
Sling Shot is being replaced by an S&S Absolutely Insane ride...AKA VertiGO and Thrill Shot.

Did it say anything about Batman's lap bars. It is ok that we will not get a new ride because that means we will in 2003. I am also VERY happy that Viper will stay.
Yes, as of now, we know that SFAW, SFGAdv and possibly SFKK will recieve an upcharge S&S 'Absolutely Insane' pneumatic slingshot, like the three that opened this year at SFMM, CP, and KBF.

Why would pneumatic slingshot if they JUST installed their slingshot halfway through the 2001 season? And batman will be back with lap bars
Did you notice that the Sling Shot that they installed this year was a trailer mount temporary version? I was there when it arrived. It looked like a carnival ride. SFDL had the same type of ride. they used them as an evaluation to see how the GP reacted to the type of ride. Obviously, they were a big hit, so now they are installing a permanent S&S version. ----------------- Bomb Squad Technician

No offense sfmm1472 but SFMM gets just as much as great adventure so you also don't need anything new. I would rather get Chiller lap bars then a new coaster anyway because that ride was not even imaginable w/ OTSR.
Well, I guess the antique Trabant (Mexican Hat) was on it's last legs. Hope someone else can make use of it.
