Tee-Track Node

I guess this question would best be directed to Ride Op, the "all knowing master of the NoLimits".  I was just wondering, what are tee track nodes (under the supports menu), and what do they do?  The help box only lists three types of nodes, but the menu has four- the fourth being tee track node.

The running theory is that this is something Ole was working on but didn't have a chance to finish before release and he forgot to take out the placeholder.

Thanks as usual.  Might this be something in the upcoming patch, or do you think he'll still leave it out?

Well the upcoming patch is focusing on bug fixes and compatibility issues.  New functions will be released later.

The lil' red dot that connects the supports to either another support, the ground, or the track.

This is what he said regarding that in the chat event (confirmed what RideOp said):

Q: What is the tee-node? I saw it in the editor, but it doesnt do anything special.. (from CoasterPhreak)
ole: Ups, I removed the tee node from the game but I forgot to remove it from the menu.
