What about Wonder Woman?

With all the talk about themeing for new Six Flags coasters I always ask myself what about Wonder Woman?  She is the epitome of American values, and in a time like the present would Six Flags not want to be patriotic and theme a coaster after our DC comics All-American Gal?  I mean after all...Wonder Womans Invisible Jet, a floorless coaster with a spiral lift, sounds like fun to me!

How about a waterslide being themed to Aqua Man?  Maybe a chutes ride. 

Let's see, Wonder Woman travelled in an invisible jet, had the truth lasso, great legs.  I'm not sure what kind of ride would best represent all of that.

I dont think wonder woman is a very marketable name for a ride

There is another DC character that could be used,  Lobo. 

A flat ride could maybe be themed to the green lantern

and I'd like to see a coaster themed to batman beyond

maybe a flying coaster since he could fly

one: You posted @ 3 in the morn, just because no one answered by 8 doesnt mean anything. Some of us sleep.

two: I *personally* brought up the invisible jet thing before, and I think it would be a great idea. And I really think they missed the mark by not calling at least one of the impluses "The Flash"

three: (just speculation) I dont think Six Flags *can* have Wonder Woman (or Green Lantern, or Flash, etc). As someone pointed out a few months ago, the only characters currently used are Superman, Batman and Batman's Enemies. Perhaps they are only allowed to use the characters that were in the Time-Warner movies; hence all the Freeze, Riddler, Penguin, rides. Come to think of it, I havent seen any merchandise of a non Batman/Superman character in any of the stores. I've seen Catwoman so it's not like they only have characters with rides currently named after them. The whole thing is quite curious. But that is what I am starting to belive.

Because with those colors, there is NO WAY X-Flight should not have been themed to the Green Lantern!

I  cant believe I forgot the flash  2hostyl   and you may be right about the licensing  of the DC characters  although I think sfne has a ride called nightwing  which is robin from batman all grown up and on his own  and nightwing hasnt been in the movies

Since you mentioned color schemes  I have a question 

What genious at sfa  decided not to paint Two face half black and half white ?

While nightwing wasn't shown in the movies per se, that guy Chris whatchamacallit did mention the name "NightWing" in one of the movies. It was in "Batman Forever" right after Dick Grayson had decided he was going to fight crime too. He was talking to Alfred and rattling off different names he could call himself and one of those was "Nightwing" (Of course Al suggested 'Robin'). So while not shown in the movie, 'Nightwing' did make an appearance, so to speak.

Is there any other that you can think of?

At least one SFA gift shop this past season had an unusual amount of Wonder Woman merchandise in it, including T shirts, key chains, and other typical trinkets. The thought had crossed my mind that maybe SFA was planning to add a WW themed ride of some kind.

Capt.America can't be used by SF because it's a Marvel comics character.As for Two Face I think a better paint scheme would be half purple and half peach to represent normal skin color much like the ride logo.I kind of like the wonder woman theme,that would fit in perfectly with SFA's american theme.

The cartoon version of two face has him wearing a suit that is half black and half white  thats where i got the idea from

Yes nightwing was mentioned in the third movie and the suit robin wore in the fourth movie was a close replica of night wings with a cape added

as for the batman beyond theme   in the show bruce wayne has the bat cave filled with the villans gadgets,two face's coin,harley quins suit,joker's joker cardmr freeze's gun as well as the bat suits, robin's, nightwing's, and bat girl's 

 I just think that would make a nice station for a coaster  to have all those props

slightly off topic - the animated batman movies ,mask of phantasm,subzero,superman batman adventure,and batman beyond return of joker blow those last 2 batman movies from the theater (batman forever,batman and robin) away  they are much better written

Jeremy, my problem with your statement isn't a problem with people that watch too many movies, or the fact that they can remember quotes..

My problem is with those that remember quotes from that awful movie..  :)

Rescue: which SFA store was this? Flags? I *want* to say I remember that, but I really cant picture any of the items so I think my brain is just making it up.

As for Captian America (the first comic I became a faithful reader of), I've seen him running around IOA a few times. Maybe they'll give him an attraction (besides the meet and greet) one day.

And Home-boy: I can remember quotes from *FAR* worse movies than "Batman Forever".

I saw them at the shop on the right as you first enter the park. I also think there were some items at the shop down by S:ROS.

Flags is the 1st shop on the right side as you enter the park.I didn't recall seeing any Wonder Woman items in S:ROS's gift shop,But then again I don't bother to look around as much.At most I just take a quick glance at my ride photo and then I'm out the door and back in line for another ride.

I have seen WonderWoman stuff at SFMM. In fact, I have a Six Flags plastic glass with Wonder Woman at my home. I am pretty sure, but not 100% positive that there were a FEW Aquaman things at SFMM also. I am VERY bothered by their (Six Flags) OVERUSE of Batman & Superman. I would much rather a generic name than some other BATMAN: The Other Other Ride. Have you ridden Batman or Superman?? Which one??? Oh never mind!
