Biggest Item Lost on a Ride

I almost lost my wallet on a skydiver style ride at Camden Park but I was able to grab it right before it slipped out of the cage.  I probably could have retrieved it since my dad was right below us and the ride is set up on a concrete pad with no one around.  I did loose a couple dollars in change on the same ride though.

I have lost my favorite pair of Sunglasses on the first drop after the lift on The Great White in Wildwood. Since then I heed the park rules and "Secure all loose articles." ;)

Great Topic.....While riding Raging Bull at SFGAM. I lost my keys. After looking over by Vipers Que line no luck was found. So I went back up to the station after closing hours where mainenance workers were checking the trains and my keys were in the back train inside of the train where they check . After that I def. believe in miracles.

The only thing I've lost on a ride is my beeper on Magnum.  First time I rode it ever too.  Oh well, I was so shaken up that I didn't even care.  I was just adrenalized from the ride.  I'm forever paranoid that I'm gonna lose my wallet, keys, or glasses on a ride too.  I'd probably have heart failure if I actually did lose one of them.  :)

A fellow behind us on Montu lost his leg (prosthetic) in the batwing.  Good thing he had a good humor about it:

"Ah, just let me sit here and keep running the ride until you go and fetch it, OK?"

Umm, don't tell anyone, but I was trying to take onride shots on Viper at SFMM, While going into the first loop, I looked at my camera to find the lens was not there! Turned out it was floating between me and my buddy.

Since I couldn't reach it with the restraint on, I just pressed my shoulder against his, holding the lens with our shoulders, though he was unaware this was happening. We blasted through the first turn (High speed!) and next two loops. Thank god Arrow coaster slow down so much at mid course (for once, I'm glad for that) so I could wiggle my arm around the harness and grab the lens. No damage done, though it opened my eyes a bit to the bad judgement displayed by myself. No need to tell me not to do that, if you were planning to.

But the pictures down the first twisting drop rule!

Can't this thing go any faster?

I've never lost anything on a ride, but one time on Splash Mountain, a Japanese couple in the log in front of me opened there umbrella on the big drop (it was raining). It went inside out then flew out of their hands. It got caught in the thorn bush thingy at the bottom of the drop.

I didn't lose anything on a ride, but I took a camera on TITAN and got some awesome pics. I like the one looking at Texas Giant and the one looking down the first drop. I also got an awesome picture of Titan's helix from the queue(sp?).

I went on Viper as a kid, with a brand new hat. My dad took it off my head when we were boarding because he said I would lose it. Then, when we came to the first drop he threw up his hands and screamed with so much fright he accidentally let go of my hat. I wasn't too mad becuase he got my an Ice Cream afterwards.

I have never lost anything, but Once when my mom and I were on Titan, the train had just turned into the big Helix before the Mid course brake, and someguys glasses flew back and hit my mom in the face.

I lost my breakfast after 7 straight Tilt-A-Whirl rides.

I also lost my $17 camera (w/ SOB Construction footage) on King Cobra, my cheap sunglasses, which I got back on Shivering Timbers, and a nice hat on Beastie, which I got back as well.

I usally keep my keys in my car and leave my car unlocked.

7 straight rides on a tilt-a-whirl is enough to make just about anyone lose their lunch.

On Viper I like to stuff my pockets with coins and when you go threw the first inversion the fly out

Thats pure Genius right there buddy...  *sarcasm*

I only say that, becasue my little 6 yr old brother got hit by a quarter in the face on Gemini. I was pretty close to loosing my cool all over the dude when he thought it was funny to throw it up in the air.

Anyways, the biggest thing Ive lost is a small digital watch when I was attemting to clock Millennium Force one morning. I was in the back seat of course, just in case.

Me and a friend lost a wide angle lens (for one of those Sony digital video cams.) It was about a $400 lens. we lost it in the helix on Goliath at SFMM. The G forces were just a little too much for it I guess.
