Thriller/Taz's Texas Tornado-Revolutionary?

Thriller's 3rd and 4th inversions are definitely variations on vertical loops.  While this may be delving into semantics as to what way a train exits the loop, the inversions look like Schwarzkopf's attempt at a vertical loop/corkscrew hybrid, perhaps even approaching a quasi-immelman.  Do you believe that this was a definite precursor for the immelmans that we enjoy today?

**Edit** Sorry, I miscounted Tyler... I mean the last two inversions, being the third and fourth.

When did the ride grow a 5th inversion?

I feel that the whole ride in itself is revolutionary.  There isn't much else that is like it.  Lots of Schwarzkoph's loops are pulled out, so to speak, but I don't think that it was any where near an immelman.  I certainly feel that the ride is insane with all of that track and circular loops though, something totally original.
