PKI Webcam & website?

It seems to me, that PKI`s webcam is down and has been since October 6.  Anyone else notice this?  I have emailed them about it and they have never responded.  Also, today they finally updated their main page with New for 2002! However, has anyone else noticed that the map they have online is from before 2001?  I in no way am bashing Paramount`s Kings Island, it just seems that they could at least update their website more frequently.  Any one know why webcam is down?

I have no idea, but it seems like they update that site every time the Bengals win (if your lucky), which is not often!  I am looking forward to riding the flat-ride-in-a-box

As far as I can see, there is nothing to be gained by having a current website during the winter. Some folks may plan a visit from the site, but coaster nuts are the only visitors who can see their site isn't up-to-date.

Besides, It's not like any of us would go to a park based on how they run their website during the winter.

I've sent a couple e-mails to both Jennifer and Jeff ovre the last few weeks and I haven't gotten a response either. I wonder what's going on.
Point A: Often times the parks website is maintained by a third party vendor.   This may mean changes do not appear as often as you may like them to be. Though I would expect the parkmap to be from the last completed season.  The knife cuts both ways, an oud-dated website can be more dangerous advertising than no website.

I'd suspect that right now, the website isn't a high priority, I mean the park is not open, and right now normal people aren't planning their annual vacation yet.     If any website work is being done, it is deciding what to put in it for 2002.

Point B: The park is closed for the season, what advertising advantage is gained by showing a closed park?  Especially a closed winterized park.

Point C: Have you considered that the park staff may not have the time right now to converse with every coaster enthusiast that drops them a note.  I realize in the ideal world they would, but heck sometimes that's just not plausible.
