Working NL

What verions on Microsoft does NL run on?  I'm getting a brand new computer and want to make sure the game runs on that.  BTW- What do all new computers have installed on them?  Windows 98, 2000, or any of the others?

Most of them now come with XP, but some do come with 2000 edition.

Is that compatible with NL?

XP is compatible with NL. It's been brought up in 100 other topics. Make sure you're computer is XP, and not Windows 2000, otherwise you'll be buying a network OS instead of a personal OS. No need for the network one (anyways, even if you want a network at home, XP Home Edition has tools to set a simple network up easily.)
