Track Pieces at Hersheypark

I drove by the park yet again on my way home from work and saw several pieces of track in the employee parking lot next to the Wildcat. There are about 8 to 10 pieces of baby blue track there but no supports yet. I took a few pictures but I still have a few more to take before I get the roll developed.
I don't know what those yellow supports were for I saw the other week on the interstate (maybe for the wild mouse at PKD?).
Great work coasterpunk,  anymore work in Reading Pa I bet you miss it LOL. I havent seen you post for a while Good to see you around.

Army Rangers lead the way
Maybe the supports were going to SFA for a small new coaster.
ahh, medusafanatic, dont get me excited!!!!  haha, i have to admit...id be suprised to see SFA build another new coaster for next year..that would be 5 coasters in 4 years wouldnt it?  i did hear rumours awhile back about that B&M stand up we never got.......and of course the famous SFOG rumours.....

ROLLERCOASTERS....BETTER THAN OXYGEN BABY!!!!!!
Yes, i know for a fact that SFA is getting another coaster because they got a contract for like 3 more coasters in the next 3 years but i know the 2002 coaster will be big and the 2003 coaster will be something small and im not sure about the 2004 coaster yet. Also the 2002 coaster will be a stand up or a floorless. That is a fact believe me!
Coaster8888777, come back to us when you stop talking out of your rear end. A contract with whom?

SFA 2002-What are they building?

I find that hard to believe. If SFA gets anything it will be a wild mouse and JJ lap bars.
The only thing obvious at SFA so far is they are clearing land and installing culverts down by the creek below Batwing.  Any announcement for what is happening will be after the first of the year according to the PR department.

I don't start to believe any 3 coaster contract for the park.  If SF does sign any multicoaster contracts, they are for the chain not the park.  Evidence of this is the fact that only 2 of SFA's 8 coasters are by the same manufacturer.  Those 2 were built 6 years apart and the first was built before Six Flags owned the park.

How in the world did a Hersheypark thread turn into a SFA thread?

Anyway, a couple of weeks ago those track pieces arrived at Hershey (the pref.parking entrance for the hockey games goes right past the lot by the Wildcat). As of last night, from what I could see along rt.743, some land clearing is going on between the first turn around of Lightning Racer and Tidalforce / River Rapids area, but no supports or anything yet (since it was getting dark and there is a fence in the way, I could not tell what wast there as far as footers).

Except for signs in the lobbies at Box Office's #1 and 4 and a one page add in the hockey program, nothing much mention of "Roller Soaker" is heard at the Arena. Over the past decade or so, new additions at the park got pretty big coverage in the Arena (all the way from Sidewinder up to Lightning Racer... even gave away a "Wild Mouse" Mouse Pad at one game back in what ever year that arrived), but this year things are quiet. Could be still too far till the beginning of the park's season or more of a concentration on the new Giant Center (wich affects hockey a heck of a lot more than a new coaster in the park).

SLFLAKE I'm working at the Giant Arena now (at least for the next week or two. Another contractor I work for has the rebar for the Roller Soaker so I'll most likely I'll get shipped there next. Then I can really get the lowdown on the coaster.
Go Bears!!
So they haven't started pouring footers coasterpunk? I know they have been doing site work. That coaster will go up quick anyway.
