Who will design PGA's scooters?

With PGA adding flying scooters in 2002, who will design them? Do you think they will be able to "snap"?

So what is better? SFMM or CP? I don't care! They both have 29 coasters between them that they build so we can have a good time!

What exactly is snapping on those flying scooter rides?
John Peck will design them :)

My fellow Americans, let's roll!
I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake

The scooter looks sort of like an octopus tub, with double cables coming from the frame of the ride above to each the rear and front of the scooter.  The rear and front also have giant wings, the front wing steers allowing the scooter to fly in and out as the frame rotates.

When the scooter is making a high range of motion in and out, the cable will slack when it hits its lowpoint.  When the cable tightens again, it jerks hard.  If you have your back against the seat, it hurts.

Its a great ride.  I'm wondering if this is a modern version, or if they are just relocating one of their current scooters (KI and KD have them, or at least KD had them) like they did the wave swinger from Carowinds to GA last year.

Well, the staff at PKI know how much the local enthusists love them, so I HOPE they are safe, and PKD just relocated theirs this year.

Screamscape (though not a true news source) reports it is a new version of them, so in terms of snapping.... probally not, since the designers of today seem to make rides more complicated then they should be.

Perhaps it will be a Chance Aviator. . .

Since PGA has made Coaster Buzz news in the last few days, I thought I would push this older forum to the top of the list......

There is still some confusion to whether or not this will be an older version of the Flyers relocated, or a brand new version by a new company. I seriously doubt It will be a Chance Aviator, but you never know.

According to Amusement Today, Larson Interantional.
