To End All SF rumors...

I've seen two threads about waterparks accross the street from SF parks (SFAM & SFDL). Well, wake up and sell the coffee. It AIN'T Happenin' !

One speed Doesn't Fit All!
Settle down on the topics, they're all pretty pointless.

Holy Ihst! Go see "Blast!"!!
"I'm on a drinking team with a bowling problem..."
Not to be rude, but i have to second that idea.

Only $140 million in profits this year guys....trust everyone on this...nothing major for next year.  They still need to pay off their huge debt...remember that.

If you see me running, try and keep up!

The reason six flags had so many rides open this year(including 18 coasters) was because it was the 40th anniversary of the company.  They NEVER planned on continuing such a trend.
coaster131, $140 is being spent on new rides for 2002, not $140 in profits. Six Flags cut back on expenses for next year.
Maybe if a certain park didn't buy a park across the lake from them......

My fellow Americans, let's roll!
I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake
I would be willing to bank on a Hurricane Reef Waterpark appearing accross the Interstate from SFGAM within the next few years.
The GM of SFGAm was present at the ACE No-Coaster event last year.  At which he discussed future additions and changes to the park.  The park, purchased the land accross the Interstate a few years back.  In the agreement, the park is required to use or develop the land by the year 2005 from what I recall.
The GM (Sorry, I am unfamiliar with him personally and do not recall his name) said the park was looking at several options moving parking over there to allow for future expansion at GAM, or more likely develop it into a Waterpark.

$140 couldn't buy a dippin' dots stand...you mean $140 Million...i hope.

SFGAm's waterpark rumor has been around for at least 3 years. If you are going to start a topic to end all SF rumors, do that, end ALL of the rumors, not just 2 that are the exact same thing.
