Flight of Fear: What would happen if....

On Flight of Fear, what would happen if the rider in the first seat tossed a magnet down the track right before the launch. I wonder if the magnet would travel a few feet infront of the train.

No.  The LIMs are on the sides and only the fins fit through them.  They also arent continuously on, it's a push-pull effect (or is it just a push or pull?).  It's not like the whole track area has a big magnetic field!

Thanks.  Didn't know that.  I was thinking that all the LIM went at once for a few seconds, but now knnowing that only a few are on a a time makes more sense
