B&M

Ok by asking this you guys might think I'm kidding but I'm not..... everyone is saying they are gonna build a B&M coaster at SFNE.. my question is "what is a B&M coaster?" is it just like the brand of the coaster for ex. intamin?

If you have ever ridden a coaster that sits 4 across, and is extrememly smooth (one you could fall asleep on :-P), then it was a B&M.

Bolliger and Mabillard build the highest quality steel coasters made.  Their design, engineering, fabrication, and control systems are all the best.  The only critcism of B&Ms is that they tend to be slightly mild.  B&M will tell you that the reason is they are building what the parks ask for.

Riding B&M coasters give me like a natural high, especially Top Gun at Carowinds!

B&M is a quality coaster.  The trains are so comfortable that if they reclined, I'd mistake them for La-Z-boy!  The ride is smooth.  The only downside I see is that they are outrageously expensive!

Then I guess Nitro, Raging Bull and Apollo are all La Z boys

B&Ms are not all smooth. Older ones are rougher. Iron Wolf at SFGAm was their first, and I think the best at B&M at SFGAm (yup, even better than Mad Cow.) SFGAm has 3 total, and each is from another generation. IW is 1st, B:TR is 2nd, RB is 3rd. Each gets smoother, and easier to sleep on.

I'm not saying I don't like RB, I love the Mad Cow. If I had a choice, I would rather ride IW once than RB once... RB 1 1/2 times (getting stuck on midcourse and walking off on the 2nd ride) or IW once, thats a different story.

They build wonderful rides, that are as fun to watch as they are to ride.  They have changed the rollercoaster world with their comfortable seats, smooth as glass rides, and their wonderful designs.  Even though I have been on only 3 of their coasters, after the first one.....................I fell in love with them.  When I say them I mean the coasters, not B&M.
