What???? Parks close for part of the season? I never knew that!!! Oh, ya, I live here in southern California where our parks are open year around!!! I have never been to a park on closing day, however, considering many parks have Halloween events, I would not be surprised to see crowds (especially if the weather is warm). If you want to know, check out the trip reports from late October of 2000.
I love year around parks!

Yea, giving a park name would be a little more helpful :)

...and if your going anyways, why does it matter? :-P

Looks like he means SF Great Adv. (judging by track record)

G.Bush:We will find those who did it, smoke them out of their holes, get them running, and bring them to justice.
I pray that I will never see a Six Flags Conneaut Lake

With the low temperatures expected, I would think that attendance at all east coast parks including SFGAdv will be down this weekend.  I'm glad that I went to SFA the last 2 weekends when it was still warm.

Oh man, this is one sad day for me (and lots of others I'm sure).  This will have to hold me over till Spring as today is the last day for SFGAdv.  I just got out of the shower and I'm getting ready to leave soon.  I'm taking many photos today to help get me through the winter.  I expect the park will be mobbed because it's sunny and clear out.  Happy Halloween buzzers!  Let's hope the world is in better shape by the time we return in the Spring!  AMEN!!!!!!!!!

I said above that I thought that the crowds would be light, but I'm hearing that SFA at least is very busy.

Well, I was there last night (closing night) at SFGAdv.  It was more crowded than I've ever seen...ever!!!!!  You had to wait forever for everything!  I waited for Nitro like 1 hour and 15 minutes. Still had a great time.  Didn't see one ghoul walking around. I guess they really cut back this year. Friday night I saw two.

I went to SFNE last night (10/28), and just left after walking around a little. It was absolutely packed. I couldn't believe it. It was only about 45 degrees outside. Now I've to wait another 6 months.

I went to SFAW on closing day. It wasnt as crowded as last year when I went to Fright Fest. I got on 3 rieds. Texas Cyclone, Serial Thriller, and Ultra Twister. It was so sad to leave. :( hopefully i can go to Winterfest.
