Yes, that is construction. And I hope its for a coaster!

it could also be for a building, but why would there be a building in front of the entrance.  Perhaps it's for the new Animal attraction, but thats pretty small for it and doesn't look like a volcano.

Could it be a water attraction near the front of the entrance? That is the cost logical thing it could be bacause it looks like a water moat.

Im thinking maybe they are doing some dry soil samples for a coaster ;)

If it has anything to do w/ construction its probably where they will park the equipment. Or used as storage for the new animal attraction so nosey people won't touch it. I doubt its for a coaster. Wait till next year for the coaster and expect it to be and everyother year thing, maybe leap frogging CP's big addition years.

Looks an awful lot like a portable ice skating rink.

OK Guys...take another look...IT'S LOCATED IN THE PARKING LOT!  What does that tell me?  They're re-paving the parking lot!

why would they re-pave a parking lot 4 ft higher than the rest and 4 ft higher than the entrance.  Perhaps a parking garage

Probaly just a storage area, could be for track or mayber just for const. equipment its hard to tell. All I know is that there has been lots of rain recently so its probaly not intended to be filled with water.

Repaving the parking lot? Why would they put a barrier like that around it? And why would it be covered in that way?

I am sure we will know soon enough, but re-paving sounds a little weird considering they took the time to put a barrier up.

and it's also much higher than the other part of the lot.  It was just re-paved last year and all of that part of the lot hasnt been blocked
