Gavionla Tilt Coaster

I don't understand how this new tilt mechanism can ever be built into a coaster.  And if it is, I don't know if I would feel safe on it!  I mean if the breaks fail for whatever reason like maybe a power outage, you're toast.  Does anybody else see where I'm coming from?  And O yeah I know that I probably spelled Gavionla wrong so I apologize.

I would imagine that the brakes would be fail-safe, in that they would remain closed in the event of a loss of power and/or air pressure.
