While driving down Sandy Blvd. today I spotted a steel coaster erected in an industrial area near NE 148th and Sandy Blvd. The lift hill appeared to be about 50 ft. tall.Anyone know more about this?

Would this be it? Looping Thunder at Oaks Amusement park.

No,it is not  Looping Thunder. This coaster appears to have a square profile on the track rails. It reminds me of the Hi-Miler coaster I saw at the Multnomah County fair 31 years ago.

Is it the one that is white and has purple track over by PDX and after the first drop it goes up about 25 ft. into a tight and turn.

You got me all excited.  I thought Oak's was getting a new coaster.  You need to start the citizens for CCI campaign, one of those would look sweet next to the Willy.

Yes,it does have purple track, and I thought that it was odd that it was set up in an industrial area.It can be seen easily from NE 148th & Sandy Blvd, just north of the railroad tracks.

Just swung by there. It is at the home of Miler Coaster Company. I inquired if the coaster was for a local park, but found out it's headed back east.
On their office wall was a collection of the many they've designed, among them the Screamer at Scandia in CA. They also did the log ride at Enchanted Forest, and I complimented them on such a cool ride; truly one of the best of it's type.
Finally I asked if I could volunteer to test their rides, but as I figured, their insurance prevents that. Oh well.
