Whats with all the trims on Floorless Coasters?

Whats up with all of the trim breaks on the 2000 floorless coasters? I know that Medusa east has none, but its not intense at all. So far, I know:

Superman: Krypton Coaster : One before the cobra Roll

Kraken: One before the cobra Roll, One after second Vert. Loop

Batman Knight Flight: One before Cobra Roll

Medusa West: One Before Cobra Roll

Again, please correct me if theres more. Is there a reason that they're before the cobra roll? Not that it really ever matters, but Im just curious. Besides, they're harldy or never on.

Medusa east doesn't have any. And theres 2 that you forgot but don't feel bad because most sites don't have them exept www.ultimaterollercoaster.com they are Superman Flight of Fear and Titan. If you go there they have pics and everything. Yes the name is alot like FOF but the ride is sponsered by the show. If you don't believe me so be it but the site has them.
I know that on BKF, the trims aren't turned on whenever I'm there.
-----------------
I don't think the trims have ever done anything on BKF, they don't look used at all.

1 trim to me isn't bad, especially if it's not used.

They're there for precautionary purposes. Like, if the trains for some reason were going faster than intended, the trims are there to slow them down. Like you said, they're never used, which rocks! ;)

Actually, I've been on all floorless', and the only trims used is the cobra roll trim on Superman: KC. And wouldn't you know it, it's my #1 floorless!

Cedar Piont is nothing with out MF. Come to SFMM and see whats happening. Just give us a Giga coaster and bam. CP out of the pic.

On BKF the trims are next to the cameras, they could be there to make sure the trian is going the right speed for the photos.
yea, theyre not used on Kraken Either. The cobra roll trim is just a slight scrape, but it obviously dosnt do much (anyone whos ridden kraken will know what im talking about). O yea, on Nitro, the photo is taken by the trims as well... but thats not a floorlesss.

Legendary did you ride the out of country floorless.
As far as I know, on Medusa west, the trim before the Sea Serpent is not used, or rather hasn't been used since it's opened. If it has, I sure haven't noticed it.
If memory serves me right, the trims are there to make sure the trains aren't going too fast. At least so far, they're never used. :)

Medusafan: I've never heard of those floorless coasters and I can't find them on that site that you put up.  could you tell me what parks they are at and the web page that they are listed on?

In general the trims on B&Ms are used just to prevent excessive speed in certain maneuvers.  The trims are operated by pneumatic cylinders and controlled by speed sensors..  The trims do nothing unless the train reaches the critical speed.  If the train is going too fast they activate just enough to knock of the necessary amount of speed.  B&M usually locates the trims at the bottom of a hill where their operation is much less noticable than it would be near the top of a hill.
yea i didnt see those coasters either

Since, from my knowledge, there aren't any other floorless coasters that are open to the public, no, I have not been on the [under construction] out of USA floorless'.  I know Superman is opening next spring, but when does the one at Fancyworld in Tawain open?

The one in Taiwan is the one called Titan and it opened this summer. Sorry if that sounded mean but I was just wondering if you rode the out of country ones.
No, you didn't sounds mean at all, just saying I didn't ride 'em.  I didn't even know the one in Tawain opened.  Are there any pics on the 'net?  I'm interested in that one as I haven't seen any layout or anything.
