Flight of Fear: A Dark Ride?

I was just wondering if you could consider FoF a dark ride, Since it is in the dark. Some people say no because a RC can't qualify as a Dark Ride.

Both FOF and Space Mountain are in the dark, but lack the visuals common to dark rides.  Some other indoor coasters might qualify as dark rides, examples include Exterminator,  Space Mountain Paris,  and Rock-N-Rollercoaster.  And then their is Journey to Atlantis to confuse us all with its combination of water ride, coaster, and dark ride features.

I see your point. But FoF does have some dark ride qualities. Like the pre show and heavy themeing in the station.

A dark ride is not a rollercoaster.

There IS actually a "fan club" of sorts for dark-ride enthusiasts...forget what it's called, I remember hearing about them having a gathering at Kennywood earlier this year, they even got to walk through the Exterminator.  THEY would be qualified to answer...

FOF is in the dark but I don't really think it counts because you can basically see where your going.

No you can't. Have you ever been on it? The only thing you can see is 3 feet of track in front of you and a few supports fly by. Mabey you rode it with the lights on, because when I rode I had no idea where i was going.
