Can't get RCT to work anymore.

the basic game will work but with teh expansion packs, no dice, it always worked fine before, now I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it deleted it, reinstalled it, and still nothing.

I get an error message it says "Error trapper Access Violation sumpin sumpin"

that's odd.
you won't like this... but all I can suggest is wiping everything mildly related to RCT... saved games... tracks... especially trainers and of course all versions of the game.
re-install.. install the official patch from rollercoastertycoon.com and see where that gets ya.

Get the newest patch fromThe official site and patch RCT and it should work fine. You can still use the Drexler Patch and trainers unlike some people say. I had the exact same problem and this is what fixed it.

Same thing happend to me. 2 years of work down the drain in 10 minutes. Oh well. Is what I did is uninstall it though add/remove programs, delete every trace of the game on my computer, and reinstall it. After that, I reinstalled LL, and tried it. Still didn't work, patched it, and it worked. It's a really stupid thing for Hasbro to do, adding the anti-cheat code in there. I have vowed to never use trainers or the drexler patch again.

i think the same thing is happening to me now? I install the 1st RCT then i install loopland scape and it wont play it says somthing about an accses error or somthing to that sort and it shuts off and then i have to reboot my pc. Maybe my copy of the game is scratched up so it wont play? but i dout it has very limted scratches that happened over time. i tryed deleating it and getting rid of everything to do with RCt and still it wont play.i have no clue whats going on and i need my fix of RCT! Anyone know what i cando to fix it?
