Think we'll see another new Universal park here?

I know they just built Islands of Adventure a few years ago, and they built Universal Studios Japan, which by the way seems to be well on the way to break their attendance figures set for their first year of operation, but do you think in the future we'll see anything as good or better than IoA built by Universal here in the states?  I thought I had heard something about the company looking into building another theme park in Orlando somewhere.  Personally, I hope if they do build another park soon, it would be in California.  Give us an IoA clone!  ;)  Anyways, thoughts?  Comments?  If they did build another park in Orlando, what do you think it would take to compliment IoA?  :)

Universal wanted to build IOA (or a park similar to it) in Southern California next to Universal Studios Hollywood, but due to space limitations and annoying neighbors, that dream has not and will not become a reality. Just like Disney parks, I highly doubt that we will see any other US parks outside of LA and Orlando.

I think IOA is a really amazing and special park and we probably won't see one like it for a few years. I definitely don't see universal buliding another park besides Cali or Orlando. Right now Universal is just concerned with building orlando into a World -class destination area akin to Disney World. I think they are doing a spectacular jod as IOA tops any Disney park. although i would not be too surprised to see Busch build a new park, since their parks have been prospering quite nicely but thats just my opinion and wishful thinking.

California does not need any more parks (TM) ;).

Anyway, I thought I heard something about a Universal Park in India. Sounds strange to me...

Why doesn't Cali deserve any more parks? Just because we probably have the most parks in the state then any other doesn't mean it can't add more. It's called competition and as long as there are parks with big coasters,there will always be another company looking at land in the area to take $ away so the new park can get more $. (Did that make sense? hopefully you get what I mean.)

I agree with Sethman about IOA, it truly is an amazing park, it definately blows Disney out of the water imo.  I'm just hoping we here in California can get something like IoA from Universal.  Hey, Disney passed on the "Port Disney" in Long Beach because of complaints from residents.  Doesn't mean that Universal can't build "Port Universal Adventure" or something like that down south someplace else!  It could happen.  Yeah right.  ;)

Raging Bull, Don't Fight It, Ride It

Disney has looked at sites in Maryland and Virginia for new parks, but due to the "not in my back yard" mentality around here, we'll probably never see it. I could maybe see the point in Virgina because the park would be near or on a historic battlefield, but the Maryland site was an old Naval base that have been closed for decades and is an eyesore as well as a hazard.
