Batman The Ride vs. Vekoma SLC

Hey, I was just wondering what you people prefer: a B&M Batman : The Ride, or a standard Vekoma SLC. I've ridden an SLC (Mind Eraser at SFA, and I loved it), but no B: TR. I'm going to SFGAdv this weekend and was wondering if Batman: The Ride is better.

In my opinion, SLC's are as rough as rides can get nowadays and I think that anything that B&M makes can't be that rough or at least not as rough as SLC's so I think you will enjoy Batman: The Ride better than an SLC.

Batman the Ride is really fast and really intense but I think its a great ride, I haven't rode the Mind Eraser so I wouldn't be able to tell you which is better.  All I can tell you is Batman the Ride is a Great Ride!

They are both great. Yes BTR is smoother but I have only had a headache after one SLC and thats T2.

B:TR.  I've ridden both and Vekoma doesn't stand a chance against B&M.  the B:TR's really do pack a punch and are very smooth.  SLC's are rough and... rough.  one thing that I noticed was that SLC's use steel cross-beams for foot choppers whereas B:TR's use the track, supports, and the land for foot choppers.

There is no comparasion B:TR is a much more intense yet smooth coaster experience. The inversion are at a rapid fire pace which leaves all the riders extremely disoriented. Also Batman has some great manuevers such as the zero-G roll.  On the other hand,  SLC's are just plain rough throughout the whole ride and did not offer any sort of sensations that should be felt during a good coaster experience. There is no question that B:TR is a far superior coaster.
