i heard that the boardwalk at great adventure expanded. i think they added some pay rides and rethemed it and everything. it's cool.

Basically, they re-painted everything, put new light bulbs in that actually work, and gave it a slight Coney Island look.  They didn't expand it at all.  They threw a Zamperla Turbo Force and Funtime Sling Shot in right by Dino Island.  That's all.

That's all??? I'd take those rides any day here at sfdl (we got the sling shot, however it will be gone at the end of the season.)

Nathan's is worth mentioning since it provides a hot dog and fries that are a cut above the food that you normally find in SF parks.

personally, I don't like those new pay rides they put in. One thing they are too expensive!! I want to see more coasters like SFMM & CP.  Even DP is killing us in the roller coaster dept. by adding Talon.  Take down Viper and add another great coaster!!!!!

Dorney definitally isn't killing us in the coaster department by any means.  Both parks have great hypers and great inverts.  Personally I think Nitro beats out Steel Force, and from the looks of it Talon beats out Batman (but I'm not sure b/c I haven't ridden Talon :( )  After that, SFGAdv. has Medusa, The Chiller (new and improved), and GASM, and Laser definitally doesn't compare. Also both parks have a lousy selection when it comes to wood.  Personally I think the pay attractions are good because they provide a lot of extra money for the park to use, which could go towards buying coasters!

they dident really exspand it but they pretty mcuh updated it from the 80's look it had,(i still think 80's when i walk toru there) and added the upcharge atractions.

Ther new Nathans is a welcome addition to the less than stellar lineup of in park food locations. There was a new games building added also, with new group games from Bob's Space Racers added. They now operate all the games in the park. FYI. It is still along way to go to replicate the Real Boardwalk in Wildwood or Atlantic City or Pt. Pleasant or Seaside or wherever else in Jersey.
