news week....

one of my friends said they were reading News Week magazine and saw an article that research was done and found that a ride on a coaster like millennium force does the same thing to your brain as a hit of cocaine.  I don't think this is true, but has anyone else seen this??

I highly doubt that that is true

Scientists have proven that addictions, and the highs we get from them come in many forms...coasters, Coca Cola, pornography, you name it....  Because of this, and the amazing high that we can get from our own bodies' adrenaline, I can agree without even seeing the article.

Actually, My cousin and I joke about this, since whenever we spend more than 4 months out of an amuesment park, we get very tired, nervous and sometimes even paranoid. I'm not sure if it's from the adrenaline, but I mean, you sorta feel a high when before and after you go on a rollercoaster.

Oh, absolutely! Coasters can be an addiction like anything else, and riders often experience that sort of euphoria. Personally, I think it's a much better thing to get addicted to!

I saw that!  I don't believe that coasters can be as addicting as drugs but they certainly don't screw you up either!

Wow! i dont know about that! I sure like coasters but I thinkIi am not addicted to them. I dont get all sad and depressed without them.
