Went with my brother to Michigan adventure saturday for a dose of ST. Overall I liked how clean the park was, but the ride ops good grief, on ST with 2 train operation at least half the time stacking happened with a 2-4 minute delay. Not sure how hard it is to make sure the lap bars are secure??? Anyway...
ST. Slightly disappointed with the back I expected more airtime and a better ride. (for a CCI) All air in the back comes on the drops of the hills. I then quickly reaffirmed my love for CCI with a front row ride. WOW!!!!WOW!!!! A great view. (I love how long this coaster is) gentle floating airtime on all hills pretty darn similar to MF. Except you get more. I really don't know how CCI does it but they are the woodie leaders. If you go make sure you ride the front seat. That is the spot.
Mad mouse. A smooth arrow (that is rare) I liked the g's on the turns up top. Nice speed on the drops.
Wolverine wildcat...rougher then ST. Better then MS though. decent ride, no airtime though.
Corkscrew...a pretty smooth arrow, with a drop turn 2 corkscrews and station. Smooth due to excessive padding on overhead restraints. However my brothers wife complained of her ear rings hurting her ears. (boy have I not heard that before on arrrows) ;>)
big dipper...a rough chance ride, good grief. after the drop the track tilted left the straight that was not to smooth on the knee.
zachs zoomer...well after my brother and I squeezed into the HUGE cars, and got somewhat comfortable it was a great ride. front seat, very smooth. I liked it alot, don't know why but i just did.
It does make me mad that great rides like ST villain have to be at not so great parks. By not so great I mean ride op's who don't really care about moving people quickly through the ride but get confused and delay the riders frequently. Of the 5 parks I have been to (boy that is alot) best ride ops are as follows
1: CP
