Acrophobia At Six Flags Great Adventure

I posted this before but the rumor that Six flags Great Adventures is getting an Acrophobia Clone is growing stronger and stronger. According to sixflagsnews.com, 2 Six Flags parks are scedualed to get them. I think the other park was Six Flag Over Texas. Also the rumor of getting a new coaster seems to be fading away. I really think where just getting Acrophobia, a couple other flat rides, new Chiller trains, paint jobs, themeing (Nitro please......), Viper trains, and Alcartz the ride. The hope for a new coaster will still live on but I won't get excited until I see some REALLY strong rumors and Proof!

What is Acrophobia.

Acrophobia is a stand-up gyro drop made by intamin(sp?). Acrophobia is at SF Over Georgia.

This rumor is really strong. Im hearing that the gyro drop will be where Free-Fall is now, but i dont think that is true. I do think though that the Gyro Drop will go where the parahcute ride is now.

Acrophobia is very comfortable, as has been stated many times.  I don't know how there isn't pain going up, but there just isn't.  Coming down, you're tilted forward into your harness. That takes some of the pressure away from the groin area and puts the pressure into the OTSR's.  Very comfortable seating.

I emailed Intamin asking if we were getting an Acrophobia clone, I really don't think their going to email me back saying yes or no but who knows......., They haven't emailed me back yet.

Acrophobia is just a name. I believe it is the fear of heights, or something to do with that. So if we got one, it wouldn't matter where it was placed.

Nitro: The Most Explosive Coaster on the Planet explodes at Six Flags Great Adventure in 2001.

It doesn't necessarily have to be called Acrophobia, although it is a really good name for a ride like that.
