Riding is less fun as an enthusiast

I've gotta go along with the people who enjoy coasters more after becoming an enthusiast. Funny thing is as a kid I couldn't go on at all since I was scared and afraid of heights. Still afraid of heights, but I'm fine after the coaster first levels off on the first drop.

I've travelled around a bit now and love all coasters big and small (unless they're unusually painful like Viper and this year on the Great American Scream Machine both at SFGAdv).

I personally go to parks with a great deal of enthusiasm and open-mindedness...if there's a ride there I've never been on, I always keep my hopes up, no matter what I've heard.  If I have bad rides, I always give the ride the benefit of the doubt and hope that the next time it will be better.  As for analysis, I never analyze anything unless it's a ride notorious for it -- like Nitro or S:RoS, I would analyze for airtime.  Otherwise, I just sit back, throw my arms to the sky and thank the coaster gods that I've been lucky enough to be placed in this exact seat at this exact moment in time because this is what we live for, and I wouldn't want to be spending this moment any other way!
