Hallo-Weekends & Millennium Force: Orange Lights?

Since Halloween is coming in the few months, I just thought of something.

At night, the lights on Millennium Force are different colors. Would you think it would be cool with "they" changed the lights to orange for the month of October?

I would love to see that. I only problem is if it would cost to much.

What do you think?

If I remember correctly, those glorious colors on Millennium Force are made through color mixing, so price shouldn't be a problem. (That is to say, they don't have to go out and buy 500 orange bulbs.)

It's a real possibility, I think, since the Force turned red and green for the Christmas season.

Yes, the lighting is achieved by color mixing. I got to see the system up close at IAAPA last year (same thing they use on all of the High End Systems lighting, including that used for rock shows). It' pretty genius if you ask me.

That said, I think they did color The Force orange or something eerie last year.

IMO, I think the coolest color effect of Millennium Force is the one where it looks loke lightning...white lights flash rapidly...It looks even cooler when you are on it and it does that... I <3 the

How did this happen? Isn't Cedar Point closed after October? How would anyone see the colors for Christmas?

Supreme Scream does the same thing at night. It looks really cool and when you go up the tower, it's amazing looking at the other two towers changing colors.

...a gift to Sandusky. They kept MF's lights red and green for Christmas. The park wasn't opened, but people can still see it across the bay.

Yes, the park does close before the end of October each year. Millennium Force is so huge, though, that you can see it quite easily from the shores of Sandusky. Here is a good example of what I am talking about:

That is really cool! Do they have lights that just shine up on the ride, and it shines on the supports? But that is really cool that people can see it all lit up even when the park is closed.

MF at night is just a breath taking site. It's silver supports seem to totally illuminate. Those lights are super powerful. If you're on the ride, and you look down, it's like staring at the sun...very bright and not too goo on the eyes. But is makes one heck of a light show.

I like the idea of changing the colors around for holidays like that - the orange would look superb if they did the lightning strobes with it -- Very spooky! As for the red and green, I must have missed that - any idea if they plan on doing it every year? Would be nice!
