What coasters left the biggest impact on you?

I was changed by the Beast when I was about 12 years old (1982). I had seen the ride on TV. I followed the footprints across the park that lead to the ride not knowing what to expect. The ride floored me completely. I had already ridden the coasters at CP and the Galaxie at IB, but it didn't prepare me for what the Beast had in store for me. Maybe the Milleneum Force and Raptor have come close to that same feeling, but I still don't think they match the tremendous impact that the Beast had on me at such a young age.

Thanks #1 coaster fan. I am sorry, but I forgot that one. When I first got that high. I was geeking. I know that Magnum looks little now compared to MF, but my first time on top of that first hill was just plain scary. That one is #2 for me. I had just forgotton about it briefly.

Wabash, back in '82, I can't even IMAGINE what that ride would have been especially for a 12-year-old.  My first Beast ride I was in my 30's and it was stll running GOOD, especially through the shed.  I wish people didn't have to get their first rides on such EXCELLENT coasters after they've lost some of their luster.  Other coasters I would have to mention are King Kobra at PKD (my first inversion, thanks Dad!) when I was about 10 or 11, and my first trip on CI Cyclone two years ago.  I still think about THAT one daily.  Also Magnum (couldn't believe the height when I first rode it) and MF (ditto!!!!!).

I have to say Apollo's Chariot. Up until the point I rode AC I wouldn't consider myself enthusiast. The biggest roadblock for me was an apprehension about heights. I think the fun that Apollo provided for me helped me get past the nerves. Since then I can't think of a coaster I wouldn't ride, hands up and enjoying every moment.

Desperado. It was my first coaster over 200 feet and that drop into the tunnel is simply amazing. I remember I was afraid to ride in the front because I thought the train would fall off but then my dad said, "If we go off the whole train is going with us". So I finally did, on my 16th ride. With my luck it hailed on the way down the first drop. When I got back to my hotel in Las Vegas it looked like I had the chicken pox! LOL! :)

goliath my first hyper. first coaster that blew me away . ive loved coasters  like b:tr and s:te before goliath. but goliath was the first coaster i watched be built from the ground up. it was the coaster that sparked my coaster intrest. after the first time i rode goliath  i hoped online to find out more  about my favorite ride thats when i found coaster buzz. thats when i found out their were people like me who were adicted to the trills coasters provide  

Magnum, Beast, Montu, Superman The Escape, MF, AC, Kumba.

All of them left me with a feeling that i could never describe with words.  Also with the feeling to get right back in line.

My first looper, Windjammer, which got me into coasting in the first place, and GhostRider. It just BLEW me away. And what a coincedence they should both be in California. ;)

X-Flight, Six Flags Worlds Of Adventure. I have been wanting to find out what a flying coaster is like. This was a first for me. It was a different expereince going up a chain lift on your back and flipping over going down wards. I got so confused during the whole ride but at the end of the were the brakes are it was very realaxing. I would have to say for the first time in many years I almost got sick getting off. We defently need more flying coasters in the future at parks.

Raptor, my first inverted, is the ride that made me an enthusiast. I was eleven at that time, and I had never felt anything that intense or that awesome. Minutes after, I rode Magnum for the first time, and I knew that I was hooked on coasters.

i'd have to say Alpengeist and Nitro...i was completely disoriented when i cam off of those rides.

Millennium Force & Raptor (tie) - Coasters that make you feel good when you ride!

Cornball Express - Funny name, excellent ride! Ride the backseat first and wait for that first twisting drop...you feel like you will be ejected out into the log flumes pool!
