What was the most xciting announcement of the year

What announcement got you so pumped before they announced it. I think the PKI announcement takes gold here since there was a thread about four hundred post long on it.

Cedar Point even though they havent even announced anything yet.

So far I would have to say the SF buying Sea World announcement.

It was something we were all hoping would happen, and it ended up happening alot sooner than we planned. I couldn't believe how happy I was.

We will see if anything will top it...

So far, it is the PKI announcement, IMO. I was really excited for that, even though I have never been to the park. I was really hoping they would get something huge, so I could convince my dad to go there.

I would have to say that X was easily the best announcment. Even though I already knew about it, it's going to blow any other coasters away!

Ask us again in October when many parks make the announcment :)

To me the CP announcement was the best.  I think everyone here will enjoy what CP has to say.  Trust me.

Dont forget about Valleyfair, people are saying there getting ready for annoucmenet coming maybe in fall (October) for a record inverted coaster in the pinic cove area. Take a look 1996 Wild Thing was our last coaster I cant belive it has been 7years without a new one, be prepared for an all new inverted possible in 2002 its coming!

It's easily X, but Tomb Raider is a close second, cause they left us in a cliffhanger. PKI is doing a good job with this cliffhanger giving loads of anticipation.

I would have to say PKI getting a steel coaster called Son of Vortex.  It's supposed to be 300 ft. tall, have 12 inversion, and be as smooth as glass.

Wait a minute, that was in my dream last night.  Oops.
