I really will not go into to much detail.
This is probably the most understaffed park I have ever been to. Many of the rides had one op checking, height, restraints, and operating the ride.
I rated each coaster on the five star rating system, five being the best.
Big Dipper; One train, one ride op. **
Zach's Zoomer; One train, two ops. *
Corkscrew; One train, one op. *
Mad Mouse; Eight(?) trains, three ops. ***
Wolverine Wildcat; One train with only three cars operational, one op. ***
Shivering Timbers; Two trains, two ops. ****
The coaster got points for queue speed, appearance, safety, and excitement factor.
All coasters failed miserably on safety. Guest safety wasn't the problem but rather ride ops doing stupid things such as walking on the rails while the coaster was running. I also noticed a lack of any kind of communications device. A situation on the Wolverine Wildcat proved that they didn't have any operable on the rides.
Appearance on all coasters was excellent.
Queue speed was horrible on majority of the coasters as most only had on train with on ride op.
Ride excitement was high on all the coasters.
The ride could use a few more garbage cans. I also didn't like there group tubes in the water park. (hope you have to strong people). The park also had no new rides which I found odd.
It must be noted that this was my first trip to MIA and I also visited the dune rides. I would recommend these to anyone who has not been in the Muskegon area.
