I remeber one time I was watching TV and it had to do with coasters and space. It showed development images of a huge LIM coaster that would propel a car up a tower, like Superman, but then the tower ended and rockets took over to propel the spacecraft. They did this to lower the amount of fuel used. They could also reeuse the spacecrafts that used this system. The system looked really cool. We know that they could probably make something in the 200 mph + range because of Astronauts's special training. I'm sure Intamin would love to take a job like this and collaborate with NASA. Did anybody else see this? My second question is coasters in space. Does anybody think in like 25-100 years we will see coasters somewhere else then Earth?? I mean in the way distant future when multiple planet civilization is common, do you think coasters could make it somewhere else. Different types of gravity could make for some pretty insane heights adn inversions. Just some random thoughts, but you never know!!!!!
