employes have ridden deja at sfmm

tonight i got my first ride on DeJa Vu. they had the first employee rides last night and had a few more today. i got 3 rides in, twice in front and once in back. it was AWESOME! here's is a short ride review. after loading the train and everythings ready to go, a loud horn goes off, suddenly your being pulled out of the staion pretty fast up the first lift hill. the view looking straight down is crazy. as soon as you reach the top theres is no time to enjoy the view cuz your immediately falling straight to the ground at 65mph. you go through the station in a little less then a second and its just a blur as you go through it. then your at the top of the boomerang. that part is very disorienting. after leaving the boomerang you go flying through the loop and up the second lift. it hurts a little when it stops then yanks you up. then after it lets you go, you get another crazy drop. after going through the course backwards you go flying through the station again, then a little bit up the first lift, then slowly lowered back into the station. overall, its an awesome ride that is gonna suprise and scare the s*it out of alot of people. its a little rough in the back for a new coaster, but still a great ride. i give it a 9/10.

I was thinkng how in the heck their going to get people down when this ride stops on the lift hill. I know it's probibly Quadtrple fail safe but, this is Vekoma and is probibly isn't! Sounds werid I know but all coasters at one time or another stop on the lift and have a walk down.

Good question Todd. It would get awfully tiring stuck vertical with a hard OTSR cutting into your collarbones. Wonder what their contingency plan is in case of emergency??

Do a lot of parks let the lower employee's ride new rides before the public? I know that it's somewhat of a tradition to have the builders/designers/upper managment ride the first few rides on a coaster, but I've never heard of (what sounds like) a seasonal employee riding before the GP. Of course... I should talk... I've been known to sneak many rides on the Wildcat =). (As per my photo--if it was approved yet)
