California Weather...

Ok, in less than 2 weeks I will be heading to LA and SF for some serious coaster riding. Wondering what kind of clothes to pack....anyone mind telling me what the weather in LA and San Francisco is usually like at the end of August/beginning of September. Thanks for all the help.

Hot.... Very Hot! At least in LA it is. San Fransicso is cool in the summertime. The weather is also dry.

Take shorts and T shirts with a light jacket, for the possibility of wind or rain, and you will be fine. It is pretty much always warm and dry. Make that very warm and dry.

Sn Fransico, is plan COLD in the summer! Esspecailly for you! It is pleaseant during the daytime though, LA is just perfect.

San Francisco isn't COLD, it's moderately 'cool'. SCBB can get a bit windy, marine world and pga are fine. LA is a bit warmer, but i wouldn't say it's hot.

Right now in Alameda (across the bay from SF) it's very, very nice out. It's about 70 at 2:30 PM.

The weather is HOT down LA.. and is Warm in Bay area.. central valley wil be totally HOT..
