Well the Beast has the best of both worlds. Intensity and Length. I would rather have a short ride be intense than not be intense. If it is a long ride but not as intense I wont feel as jipped.

well depending how popular X becomes will help answer this question. X Is going to be one of the most intense roller coasters ever built and one on the shortest.

The big thing that fasctnated me about X from watching the animated video was the different prospectives that you will have riding on it, not only from from to back but also from left to right. I can't wait for it to open!!

I have never been on a coaster that felt long enough. So, intensity.

Intensity isn't everything. Length isn't everything.

However, if given a choice of similar coasters (same genre, ie inverted), I'd take the "lesser intense, longer ride" over the shorter, gray-out intense ride.

Such an example would be Raptor over Batman, or basically any B&M inverted over Batman, save TG at PGA. Now, I freakin' adore Batman, and everything it has to offer. I just want a longer ride experience, and Raptor, Montu, Alpengeist, Top Gun (PC), Great Bear, Talon just offer more of what I'm looking for.

Intensity is the better of the two for me, but I never turn down a good long coaster.

It doesn't matter how long the ride is, just because a ride is long doesn't mean that it is good. However an intense ride is a good ride.

I prefer intensity over length, but I WANT both in a ride. I loved Tremors, a wonderful CCI up in Silverwood, ID, but Ghostrider at KBF answers all my prayers. It has a very long ride, and Websters Dictionary should have a definition of intensity with a picture of Ghostrider next to it. I believe it did last time I looked :)

I never felt like intensity was that important on a coaster. I like the feeling of flight more (bigger B&M inverteds), compared to the shorter intense B&M inverteds (Top Gun).

I agree with Legendary. Ride time!

Stealth has a great amount of intesity but is also very short. Intesity matters much much more to me then ride time. Sure, I'd like a long intense ride (MF) but you cant always get that.
