Lines at SFMM in October

I havent been to mm in the month of October-ever and am planing to go this october and was wondering what the lines are like in october? Im not planning to go during fright fest though, but if I end up going what are the lines like during then?
Umm, call the park, they give you a better idea what it is like in october, but i have not been to SF in Oct, but in DEc all the rides are walk on.

Okay, on SATURDAYS it WILL BE CROWDED.

Because of Fright Fest, okay.

What about rides in rehab in December? Aren't most in rehab?
Umm, most of the water rides are closed like their raft ride, but other than that all coaster are running, but at winter season, one or two trians, but that park is pretty light during the week.
Gennerally my opinion off season is the best time to exprenience the true part of SFMM.
So in oct then are the water rides in operation?
In October, most of the attractions will be open (all the major attractions will definitely be open unless there are mechanical or techical problems). The crowds are very small earlier in October with crowds getting larger and larger closer to Halloween. My advice is to go on a Friday or the last three days of October (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday) since crowds will be pretty much non existant, except for X. SFMM is open from 10 am to 10 pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout October. The park is also open October 29-31 with the same hours.

And another thing, most of the water rides will be open with Xtremely short lines.

Dude the best time to go to SFMM is october. I have been going to MM for three straight years. The lines are fair. The major rides are about a 10-1 HR long.
mixmastamike:
pardon me, but i think you're smoking crack if you think 10-1hr is good.
I have been to MM so many times and i would NEVER go if i thought there was a 1hr wait for ANYTHING. Go on a WEEKDAY BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY or a WEEKDAY AFTER LABOR DAY and the rides are WALK RIGHT ON or 5min for the more popular ones. Even Goliath was a WALK ON in MAY. Though BATMAN always manages to have longer lines somehow.

PS: If you like GOLDRUSHER, It's ALWAYS a WALK ON. :)
Last time I went in October was 1999. It was Gospel Celebration so the lines werent that bad. The best time was during concerts. Unfortunately you can take advantage of that anymore since Gospel Celebration is now in June.

All I can say is good luck and get there early!
