Scariest memory on a rollercoaster

Mine would have to be when I first rode a rollercoaster! It was the Sea Dragon at Wyandot Lake. I was yelling and screaming my lungs out when I first rode it. Now I look back and say, "Man, I'm almost bigger than it is!"

I have never been afraid of a rollercoaster. I was however, kinda nervous sitting in the Power Tower chair for five minutes.

My scariest moment ever was riding the Beast for the first time at night about a good 6 years ago when I was a kid (I'm 14 now)... All I remember is that I was soooo terryified going into the tunnels of the wicked but totally awesome second helix how I felt my head was going to hit the wood on the tunnel and on top of that it was pitch black out! To the day it has been my favorite ride, and is the only one that can actually scare me! Even though I've been a couple hundred times at least (exagerration).

I was terrified when I rode a Monster Mouse at Rocky Glenn park about 17 years ago. It was like the Mouse at Lakemont Park but had an extra area of track with about a 20 ft drop. Those old mice are rough and shakey. Really scared the crap outta me. I was only about 7 at the time. I only regret not going on the Mighty Lightning because it's gone now. :( What did I know though I was just a silly kid. I was afraid it had a loop in the woods. Only if I knew the loop wouldn't happen on a woodie for another 15+ years. :)

When my restraints have popped open during the middle of the ride on the Mantis at Cedar Point (happened once) and Serial Thriller at Six Flags Ohio (happened twice)

Every time i go on the Beast, that helix gets to me. Its the best part of any coaster any where.

Though it wasn't necessarily scary, I thought Face/Off (or any Invertigo) presents a unique level of intensity when you're sitting in the front seat being dragged slowly backwards up the lift hill, looking down at the ground getting further away and being pressed up against the restraint... the only thing keeping you from falling to the ground.

Stealth-that ride is crazy.

Scary- Power Tower
Terrifying- watching me and my dad practically fly right out of the Shivering Timbers car. I think we made our seat belts a tad tighter after that.

Ok I don't like lift hills. I HATE EM lol. We were on The Beast earlyer this year and we got stuck at the top of the 2nd lift hill for about 20 minnutes but at least we got to finnish the ride. LOL

mine was drop zone at pki but rollercoaster it would have to be my 1st hyper coaster 2 years ago when i was 10 yrs old ( now 12 ) ya the hyper was SuperMan at darien lake but no park is as good as Cedar point americas rollercoast :)

I have about five scary moments

1984(8 yrs old): First real coaster ride on Jet Scream(or Stream) SFStL. Upon returning to the station I actually said "I'm alive?"

1987(11): Got stuck on the second lift of River King Mine Train (SFStL). We werent very high, but seeing as I didnt want to get on it in the first place, I was scared into a change of shorts (joke).

1990(14): Aboard Magnum XL-200. On they way up, I watched a Winnebago turn into an ant. At the top, I entered into total sumbission to the coaster mystique and raised my hands (they havent been down since...)

1994 (17): Sort of a coaster, Intamin 1st gen freefall (SFoG), screamed like a school girl (proceeded to ride 2 more times)

2000(24): Not a coaster, S&S Space shot (Dr Doom's FearFall) with the pre-ride isolation, I almost lost my mind...

(BTW: Dont let the stories fool ya...I'm a toothchipper =])

Scariest memory:....hmmmm.....hmmmm.....None! I enjoy every second I'm on a coaster, and have never been scared on one.

Riding the Psyclone at SFMM with only 2 clicks on my lapbar. When we hit the first drop I experienced what some would call airtime. I had to grab on as my knees flew up and caught the partially lowered lap bar.

When I was 4 I rode the Scooby Doo and PKD and it was so scary. Now It doesn't scare me anymore.

I would have to say my first time on MF, I left quite a bit of space between me and the lapbar to start things off. I didn't think the ride had much airtime, but I was wrong. The first hill was the scariest thing, you lift off the seat and don't feel like you're in the train anymore for a second. It freaked me out. I pushed it down just a pinch more through the overbanked turn...Now I leave just as much space as the first time and I have a blast, I know my knees would break before I would fall out so that's it.

Being stuck at the top of the Pepsi Max Big One, on the front row, overhanging the drop, for 10 minutes, 200 feet up, in British weather, is NOT pleasant!!! Happened to me in 1996.

When I was at the top of Riddler's Revenge [ its was only one of my first few coasters] Standing 166 ft in the air was petrifing! I said " Why am I up here?" I also though , " I don't think I would of went on this ride if I knew it was gonna be like this!" But it was one of the best rides I have been on!

RIDDLER'S REVENGE: THE MOST UNDERRATED COASTER IN THE WORLD!

The only time I've ever been a little scared was 3 years ago when I was at Valleyfair in Minnesota. I was riding Wild Thing and near the top of the lift hill, the train stopped. Moments later an attendent walked up the stairs and removed a big stuffed animal from a rider behind me, I don't know how the attendents didn't see it originally but it was enough for us to stop 200 feet in the air for 5 minutes. But because of the long wait the ride was that much better
