What I heard when I was at CP

Hey all, its my first post so don't kill me on this one. But to add to the CP rumors for 2002, when I went with my girlfriend to the point on the 28th of July, great day BTW, I asked an employee as to what he knew what was coming in 2002. Although he was a hamburger shop guy (no, not dippin dots!) he said that they were going to have to put in new power cables for next year because the ride took up so much electricity! Not to start a major controversy here, but don't LIM's take a mass amount of energy to run???? Gossip says that CP wants a speed record. Any one else see a shuttle type ride there next year? Reasons are to conserve space and to blow away S:UE and/or any Thrust Air for speed??? Just a thought here. I have the patience to wait and see what comes into the greatest park in the world every year. Heck, I was excited when they said they were gonna redo Avalanche Run (RIP) into Dispatch Master Transport (lol) What have you heard???

I've heard many different things. But, we will just have to wait and see.

We have all heard the rumors, but Gr8Ride is right. We all just have to wait and see. There are only a few people that actually know whats coming, and they are not talking. I actually think it's more fun to hear all the rumors and then see most of them put to rest when the announcement is made.

Well, after all that talk Cedar Point did about S:TE, I don't see them getting a Shuttle coaster. The whole retheme of DT has been around a lot so I don't know. I wish they would though, people have talked about an ice theme or something. Sounds Cool to me

As for the coaster announcements I found this out from Cedar Fair.
