Every time the News Media blows things out of the water with reports concerning "accidents", a common comment is something along the lines of "Markey is going to love this." Ed Markey seems to be the most popular name used here anymore.
Markey is most interested in limiting G Forces on rides, which has nothing to do with Chaos at MI, S:ROS at SFNE, etc. Markey seems to believe that limiting G forces and having federal regulation will decrease the incredibly small accident rate on amusement rides.
Leave Markey alone, he doesn't understand what he is trying to do has no effect on the "bad" (Not extreme sarcasm) year the amusement industry is having. I am sick of hearing his name. He is getting more attention than he deserves with his worthless bureaucracy. Leave the regulation, inspections and responsibility to the industry at let Markey rot in the corner with his house resolutions.
